Quite a spring day indeed! Beautiful sunshine was our back drop today for another fine day of steelhead fishing. The bite both shallow and deep was consistent today with fry patterns dropped from either a caddis nymph or egg fly. A stiff breeze kept us from a few of our favorite spots so we fished a few places that I would otherwise pass over. I guess I should go out on a limb more often and fish some off beaten spots more frequently. The pressure on the river was light today compared to other days recently. Pictured are Bob, Allen, and Mike from Chicago and Arnold from Maine.

Tight lines,

Steve
