Don and Tom were on the river today enjoying the cold sunshine. The deer, Blue Birds, and a pair of eagles also saw fit to enjoy this sunny but cold day. Insect activity has increased dramatically over the last few weeks and stone flies are now going to play a big roll in fish catching especially on warmer days. Look for daily fishing report to commence starting Monday the 10th.
The River Quest crew will be at the Michigan Fly Fishing Club (www.mffc.org) show this weekend in Warren; stop by to see us. Fred will be creating spey flies and other patterns that only Fred will be able to demonstrate for you! If you are lucky enough to view some of his tremendous fly tying skills you should opt at the opportunity to join him on a guided float this season; he has some choice dates available.
