Ah sunshine! Today was a treat after several days of sub-par weather; though the fish seemed to prefer the fowl stuff. The guy’s from Belden had to actually work for there fish today which I reminded them is why we call it “fishing”; Don Graham and Fred Vargas found sticking close the brush was the key to success today, while we just looked for open water to wet a line; we certainly did not receive the invatation to the boat show.  We found our fish in classic spring glides and gravel locations though no two fish came on the same fly pattern for a change. Tom’s group fished less traveled water and found plenty of new fish to play with. Pictured is eleven year old Kennedy with his father Dave from Lawrence Michigan with his first Steelhead!
