While many of you were stuffing your shopping carts with silver boxes on “Black Friday”, Micheal Westra and his son Liham of New Jersey had their own silver in mind. Fishing was not too disappoint, the morning bite was great and some very nice fish filled the camera frame with silver. Patterns that brought fish did change from previous days on the water, if your standbys aren’t getting it done- keep changing! The steelhead are reacting to the falling water temperatures and are now mostly in the holding water. Change is coming as ol’man winter is poised to make an appearance late this coming week; if you’re looking to hit the river, early week could be the most comfortable!
