Dan Challa and his two guests from Oregon- Walter and Rob joined me Friday for a day of fishing on the Muskegon. Fishing was fair as we scoured the fast water for spawning salmon. Both Rob an Walter were new to the fly fishing world but quickly found success. Salmon numbers continue to perplex as thing have yet to peak- or maybe it has with very low numbers. Steelhead numbers are improving as most of us are finding some nice silver daily. Pictured is Rob and Walter with their first fly rod salmon.
