Today was a hard day on the water. The fish where not out in numbers like the day before, and those that were, were very spooky. Fresh fish are hard to find which will be the key to a productive day from here on out. Tom and I had the pleasure of taking out a group from Mercantile Bank. Tom was with Brian, Mark and Ray. I was with Doug and Rick. This was Rick’s first time fishing for salmon with a fly rod. But after several hook ups, he landed his first salmon. Doug is a pro – he is the one with the ball cap.
