Scott Misaad and his father-in-law Sandy joined me today on the Manistee. Fishing was less than ideal this morning in the lower light conditions as the fish have found comfort in the higher water flows in areas that you would otherwise not fish. Once the sun hit the water the fish moved to the more traditional lies that produce. Our morning was slow but from mid-day on we were game-on! Landing ratios were out-of-wack as many chrome fish “flipped us the fin” as they hit the lumber. Pictured is Scott and Sandy with a few of the fish that made it to the net. Green caddis, antron stones, and orange steelhead candy were most productive.

Tight lines,
