Partner Dave Devries joined me today for some scouting upstream after Steve reported lots of moving fish downstream yesterday. Water levels were up about three inches from yesterdays much needed rain. New fish were prevalent in most typical locations. A surprising number of summer Steelhead were spotted along with a fair number of Coho. We did more looking than fishing but I was rewarded with a 17.5lb (on the boga) lake run brown. After several photos I sat back and relaxed!! I think my move to the Manistee this September was a good one! Thanks Dave for the tour…………………………….
