The Heneveld group joined Capt. Dave and I yesterday for their annual spring outing. Fishing in my boat was “off” yesterday. It seemed that nearly every situation I presented my clients with carried one very common theme- moody fish!. Whether our fish were spooked by the sun or boat traffic or a combination of both it made for some puzzling moments. Jim Lilly of Bank of Holland had no previous experience with fly fishing or for that matter river fishing in general. By the end of the day he was not only able to cast but he successfully landed his very first steelhead- congratulations of your steelhead fishing success and your future wedding.
