The Heneveld Group made their annual spring pilgrimidge to the MO’ to join Dave and I. The weather was spectacular….4-5days in a row in shorts! Steelhead fishing was good with many fish coming to net. The afternoon fishing with the extra special weather has been a little tougher but very enjoyable. Afternoon stone fly hatches are still very plentiful and with the water flow back to normal expect to see some surface feeding during the most prolific hatches. Water temps are climbing very fast with the summer like weather; currently around 47-48degrees. Small caddis, stones, antron bugs, and nickle size hexes are producing most fish.
