Here is Eli with his first steelhead. He’s a good ol’ boy from Lousiana who makes Michigan his home now. Eli also hooked four others. Ron landed a nice 18 inch rainbow, but he dropped it into the river before I could take a photo. Thanks Ron for everything! Ron did manage to hook three steelhead though. Oh, did I mention Eli likes to sing “O My Darling Clementine” while he fishes – to each his own.
The day on the river was just the same as yesterday, as everyone that owns a boat was on the river.
