Scott Deemter and his two sons Trace and Tyson joined me yesterday for a beautiful day on the water. While there were many people on the river we were able to find a great deal of success slowly probing the dark stuff. With all of the boats move up and down the river look for the best fishing to be had in classic holding water. The morning fish seemed to be on the egg fly bite while the mid-day and afternoon fish preferred small nymphs. Pictured are Scott and Tyson with a sampling of some great chrome from yesterday. Trace was able to land several walleye but his steelhead fell short of the net.
