The past two days on the MO’ have been very good to me and my two long time guests Gary and Barry of Missouri. These two fishing machines boated 15 steelhead in the last two days. Water conditions on the river are ideal with temperatures running around 40 degrees. Steelhead are keying in on clown eggs, stone flies, and green caddis; try as I might I can not buy a fish on a cross-dresser this year.  Winter fish are on or very near gravel and hot chrome are in the pools. The condition of the steelhead are far surpassing my expectations this year- notice the huge winter buck pictured with Gary-Awesome! Here are the guys with a sampling of the last two days.
