April fools? It certainly was in the weather department today! Around 10:30am a heavy band of unforecasted snow moved through briefly turning everything white! I seems more is on the way with the extended forecast featuring possible accumulations next week.
Dave Goedde and Jim Gardner- long time guests of RiverQuest joined me today on the Muskegon. Fishing the deep water this morning provided some nice ‘mint’ silver while this afternoon we were forced to shallow up. Caddis, stone flies, clown eggs, and pale pink nuclear eggs did the trick. If the weather holds true for next week look for deep water to continue to be the place to be!
