Shane Mieras and his fishing partner Marty joined me on this sunny but cold day. The steelhead seem to be very picky the last two days; many casts per run seem to be the key to success. Steelhead orange and clown colored eggs produced two steelhead today. The water level did rise abit and was up to a balmy 34-35 degrees by afternoon. I can only say better things are in the short-term fishing forecast. Pictured is Marty with one of his “cold” steelies from today.
