Smallmouth are still going strong. We’ve had to change up fly techniques to bring fish to net. Many of the fish are now in the deeper areas of the river, which is typical for this time of the year. The key is getting the fly deep.
We are slowly seeing salmon trickling into the mid-section of the MO but nothing in any fishable numbers yet. From what is looks like so far, the salmon migration is about on schedule.
