Happy Friday–Summer Smallmouth

Despite the chilly fall-like mornings summer fly fishing remains fantastic. Crawfish patterns held there own as did the usual boogle bug. The Muskegon River remains very summer-like with an average temperature around 70 degrees. Sure, some of the early rivers are producing some good fall fishing, but the Muskegon is warm and summer fishing is the name of the game for a good while.
