Cool nights & shorter days

We’ve finally turned the corner and brought a little fall air back. Sure, warm afternoons continue to be the norm, but the cool nights and shorter days will win out.

We definately need some more rain, but we’ve certainly had years with less water. The salmon that are in the system have been here a while, new fish have slowly been trickling in. Steelhead can be found in a few tail-outs…

It only improves from here on out. Pictured is Dr. Afman with a nice late season smallmouth from today with RQ guide Dave.
