Muskegon River Fly Fishing

The Slice – Muskegon River Fly Fishing

Spring Break continues… Dr. Scott Westhouse and his son Caleb toughed out a pretty miserable day of weather on the Muskegon River fly fishing for steelhead with me today. Thankfully the steelhead treated us pretty well today while we were on the Muskegon River fly fishing and made the weather a little less noticeable (and Caleb’s rendition of the “Slice” to stay warm). Today was special for Caleb, while he has fought and landed many salmon and steelhead previously, today he cast, fished, and landed his steelhead all on his own. Pictured lower is a nice buck steelhead he landed on his second cast of the day on the Muskegon fly fishing!
