Russ, Jerry, Dennis & Jim from the Chicagoland area joined Jay and me for a couple days of fishing the MO. As the title of this post suggests there was more to this trip than the fishing. They also got to sample some of Heather’s breakfast and dinner selections. However, the stars of the past couple days were definitely the chrome that came to play, mostly in the morning hours, before we targeted some of the large salmon still in the river.
There are still some fresher salmon in the river but are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The steelhead are becoming more abundant and hopefully the rain we are currently getting brings in some more. We still have a few select days available for some fall steelhead fishing. give us a call to set up a date for your shot at one of these beautiful fish.
