While many people think this weather we’ve been having is totally awesome, I must say it IS NOT making fishing easy by any means. Sure 75 degree afternoons makes for a pretty great back drop on the river, but that’s about it!
Salmon fishing is progressing along while steelhead remain hit or miss. You can’t put a bend in your favorite fly rod if you don’t get after it! We should see a little reprieve in fishing pressure tomorrow with the beginning of the work week–I’m not gonna complain. Pictured is Frank with his first salmon on a fly rod.
