Long time guest and friend Matt from the DAC joined me along with his nephew Harris for a little escape from their Lake Michigan family vacation. Sometimes yah gotta just get away from the the beach and fish! Fishing today was a little more fickle than past days. It seemed as though the bass just wanted the first fly to get their attention and the second as their snack–weird, but better than the alternative! We landed a good number of fish throughout the morning, both Matt and Harris should be able to survive the second leg of their vacations.
