Another beautiful day on the river today. Capt. Don, Jay & I hosted the group from Rockford Construction and their guests Dan, Jon, Joe, Greg, Bob & Paul today. I had the privilege of having Dan & Jon in my boat. It was a privilege because Jon landed his very first steelhead. While it was not large, it fought like a fish twice it’s size. After being the polite host and letting Jon get his fish, Dan got with the program bringing a few nice fish to hand. Stone Flies & Clown eggs continue to be the best producing offerings. After a few chilly days mother natural gave us one of the nicest days so far this spring to get out and enjoy being outside and enjoying some time on the water.
