The wind layed down and we finally cleared the leaves and debris from the river! This alone made for a very enjoyable day of swing flies on the Muskegon. The steelhead certainly took notice and provided first-time two-handers–Matt and Garrit a whale of a first time! I think they do believe me when I told them that tomorrow could be different and to count their blessings, but who knows, I’d be happy if they were spoiled again!
