Shift change–after the past weeks day trips it was a pleasure to spend last evening on the river with Doug and Phil, though it certainly made for a short night since I’m back on the day shift this morning. Sulphers, caddis, and drakes were on the water in decent numbers last night, but the trout were quiet. This while not surprising, certainly was disappointing. However, success came early with afternoon nymphing. Pictured is Phil with a hefty rainbow.
