Hope we can do it again

The Holland Litho guys joined me on the Muskegon, and we were fortunate to guess right on locations throughout the day.  Believe me; that has not been my story each day during the 2010 run!   So, we were blessed—especially given the fact that we had full sun and, in the afternoon, very high winds along with 80 plus temps!  Action, though, was continuous, and while Mike and Brett hooked and fought multiple steelhead, it was Tamas’ day to put them in the boat.  Schmidt’s Steelhead Bugger and pale egg patterns were our best flies.  Suckers are increasing in numbers to the point that sorting the steelhead from them is part of the game in some spots.  Black stone flies hatched in prolific numbers, and the resident trout fed heavily and regularly on them daylong.  Thanks, Mike, Brett, and Tamas!  You guys are a pleasure to host.  Hope we can do it again!  Pictured is Tamas with two of the steelhead he took today.
