Steelhead First – Trout Opener

Trout

Happy Trout Opener!

No suprise, trout fishing remains a ways off on the Muskegon River. River water temps remain in the mid 40’s—spring steelhead fishing is the game for the next couple weeks yet.

Henry, his father Dominic, and good friend Kevin joined me today. This would be the first steelhead trip for these guys. Thankfully the river treated them well and opportunities were had by all. Pictured is Henry with his first steelhead before his wedding in France. Congrats and best of luck with the wedding.
