It certainly felt seasonable today on the Muskegon River today swinging flies. The temperature hovered around 40 degrees most of the day, only about 35 degrees cooler than the past 5 days. I’m not gonna lie, I was cold.
Thankfully our fall steelhead were happier today and we were able to find some willing fish. Pictured is Dr. Scott Westhouse with a nice steelhead from this afternoon.
