Persistence

The tough bite of late began to show signs of improvement today. Coincidently, this corresponded to about the same time the cold front passed through the area. The river level fell dramatically yesterday and popped back up a bit today to where I’d assume they actually targeted the drop. Water temperatures remain fairly warm at about 49 degrees. Arctic air is on the horizon and will likely send our river temp south quickly. Should be an intersting ride over the coming days. I have a few days off to hunt with my family–back at it soon. Pictured is Don with a great buck from today.
