Thursday & Friday Don and I hosted the Annual Fly fishing extravaganza featuring, Scott Roe & Jim Newell in my boat and Keith Sutherland & Tom Asp with Don. This was the groups 9th year coming up to the Muskegon for their outing. Thursday the guys worked hard and had a few chances. My boat spent the morning concentrating on trying to find chrome to no avail. We were rewarded however with a couple nice trout. In the afternoon after getting a little love from Capt. Tom Kuieck we found a few salmon willing to play. Don’s boat spent most of the day fishing runs in the faster water and they too were rewarded. Friday Scott & Jim were rewarded for their previous days hard work. We managed to find a nice pod of fish willing to let us play for a good part of the day. Keith and Tom also had had good day with Keith losing and exceptional buck almost at the boat. Well done guys, we’ll see you next year.
