Our annual spring steelhead trip with Mad River Outfitters concludes tomorrow. New friends were made and we look forward to seeing this fantastic crew again, hopefully sometime soon. The high-water is slowly falling and the water temperature is slowly climbing. Spring is not in a huge hurry this year and we’re thankful at this point not to be in a fast-forward situation as previous seasons high-water events have created.
Fishing wasn’t easy for the guys the past two days, but persistence is key when conditions are tough. Pictured above is Greg with a heavy buck steelhead. Phillip is picture below with a nice steelhead.
