A Lifetime Steelhead – RiverQuest Charters Guides

RiverQuest Charters Guides

RiverQuest Charters guides Captain Don Graham netted what surely will be guest Jake’s steelhead of a lifetime today! Not to jinx Jake, but the buck he hooked and landed on the Muskegon River with a fly rod and fly is not only his personal best, but it may well remain that way for a long, long time. 16 lbs. on the Boga is one extraordinary steelhead—yet truly, one of any number of double-digit fish that RiverQuest Charters guides have brought to hand this spring.  We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; these are the largest, best-conditioned steelhead the Muskegon River has had in a decade. It’s blowing us RiverQuest Charters guides away, and we’re thrilled our customers are front and center to enjoy some really special spring steelhead.

So, it’s no wonder, then, that Jake and Pat had one terrific day.. They were on fish all day—a testament to the great run of steelhead the Muskegon River is boasting this year, to be sure, but also to the skill of their guide.  Here’s to tight lines and great memories about a day and a steelhead that Jake, Pat, and Don will never forget.
