Kent – 4/27/09

Today I spent the day with my good friend Kent Wallace for our fish and putt day. We spent the morning on a very quiet river, as far as traffic goes, playing with a few of the steelhead that remain in the system. The fish, where you can find them, are more than willing to play, and as Steve mentioned some of the dropback females are feeling pretty good about themselves. After landing a good number of fish this morning we headed out after lunch for an afternoon of golf. The day would have been perfect except for the fact that I lost the skins game on the final hole. I guess that makes it perfect for Kent though. Our best flies today where Chartruese/Orange steelhead candy, Green Caddis, Larger Stone Flies and Antron bugs.
