It’s official

I think it’s officially safe to say winter has arrived. While our river temperature remains well above average for early December, it should soon drop into the upper 30’s. Swinging for winter steelhead is a challenge—just like winter steelhead are supposed to be!

If you want to experience the true tranquility of winter fly fishing, consider spending a day swinging flies on the Muskegon River. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as we do! Pictured above seasonally dressed today is Bruce. Below is a nice steelhead that took a sculpin yesterday.
