Good & Tough?

It’s a tale of two different worlds right now on the Mo’. Good to excellent winter trout fishing is common place for RQ guide Jay Allen upstream, while the last two days for me has proven difficult with the two-handers for winter steel downstream.

The beauty of winter fishing on the Mo’, no matter upstream or down is the solitude of your surroundings. Watch the eagles soar and the mink scamper—get outside and embrace the wonder of Michigan winter on the Mo’!

Pictured is a fantastic winter brown caught by Jay’s client on a recent outing.
