Fall is Here!

Even though the current weather is more like summer, the cool weather from earlier this month has brought fall to the rivers.
Chinook salmon as expected are running super-sized this fall. Many fisherman and guides on Michigan’s early running rivers have posted pictures of salmon in the lower to mid 30 pound range this fall. Landing these giants has proven to be a real challenge!
Salmon have arrived in the Muskegon River too and numbers will build over the next few weeks. Trout fishing is good and should continue for the next couple of weeks. Fall steelhead are only a few short weeks away!
