Thankfully day two of Dan & Collins video shoot featured some much happier steelhead! I’m relieved that they didn’t make us work quite as hard as yesterday. The Muskegon River rose slightly again today and is flowing above average around 4300cfs. Depending on the rain tonight and tomorrow, we stand to gain some more. Water temperatures remain a chilly 37 degrees.
Capturing candid moments with the camera isn’t always the easiest to do while on the river, but this iphone shot really sums up the reward and fun of a well earned steelhead. Nice fish Dan!
