Fun day with Tom and Max from Werkman Outfitters. Tom and Max are part of the Orvis family of guides, outfitters, & lodges here in Michigan. Both Tom and Max have helped RQ on some of our larger group trips as you may recognize their names and faces.
The Muskegon continues to flow at a pretty normal level for December. The water temperature has slowly continued to fall and now sits around 39 degrees and is a clear as she gets! Swinging flies continues to reward the dedicated and today was no exception as the river was kind to us. Pictured is Max with a terrific buck steelhead that took his swung baitfish pattern this morning.
