Burrrrrr!

The old saying ” You can’t catch’em if you don’t go” certainly rang true today for RQ guides Tim & Jay. The weather today test the mindset of both clients & guides as a big cold front plunged through the region. Daytime temperatures held steady around 28 degrees with a steady 25+ mph winds with gusts to 40+. AccuWeather pegged the real feel at 13 degrees most of the day on the Muskegon River. Not an easy day to be outside let alone swinging flies.

Super proud of the entire crew for digging down deep and staying the course. Pictured is Brandon with a well earned steelhead and Esteban with a nice post spawn brown trout.
