Beautiful weather

Beautiful weather is forecasted for the next few days. Certainly not “steelhead weather”, but it’s hard to complain about the vitamin D.

Steelhead numbers have improved on the Muskegon River, though the high-skies will likely keep them shy as the water temperature reaches the upper 30’s.

Adult Black stone flies will be numerous one the next several afternoons. River conditions favor dry fly fishing. Look for trout to feed on the soft-water sides of the river due to the cold flows.
