A bit of everything

The Muskegon River is a diverse fishery, some days you just don’t know what you’re in for. As the river slowly warms up streamer fishing has slowly improved. Very soon I’d expect the first grey drakes of the season. Today featured just about every fish in the system with the exception of a “big” brown trout. Thankfully we were entertained by everything in between. Pictured above is Tommy with a great river smallmouth bass. His brother Jack is pictured below with a nice late season steelhead.
