Tom Hedke and the company of Jim, Bryce, and Marcus joined Captains Tom and myself for an exceptional day on the lower Manistee River. Fishing today was full of battles with very chrome salmon–fresh from Big Blue. While the action was fantastic, the landing ratios were pathetic! Fresh chrome and lots of lumber= the agony of defeat! Also missing from today was a camera to properly record the shimmering silver…had to make due with the camera phone. Pictured is Tom with one of his chrome salmon brought to hand.
