Dr. Scott Burgess and his wife Denice joined me yesterday. Temperatures in the middle 60’s and cooperative chrome made for an enjoyable day on the water. Try as we might Denice was not able to land her first steelhead. However she was certainly able to refine her photography skills as Scott posed a number of shiny silver steelhead. Significant rain and even the possibility of a spring snow storm are on the horizon. We do not need a drop of rain–period! Keep your fingers crossed that the forecast models are wrong and this system passes us by.
