The River, She’s Arisin’

Please excuse the “day late” post, but I’ve been running pretty fast of late between the river and meetings, meetings, and more meetings. It’s all been good, though, including how Jason and Paul toughed it out during Tuesday’s torrential downpour. Started the day with the river at 3400 cfs and finished at 4950! As we now know, “the river, she’s arisin’.” When both bilge pumps are squirting water sideways off the hull, you know you’re in a serious rainstorm. Best flies were the Antron Stone and Steelhead Orange nuke egg. Great job, Jason (his first steelhead) and Paul! You earned your steelhead stripes today!
