What a beautiful spring day! Today I had the opportunity to fish with Sal, Reb & Frank. We started the day with the idea of fishing the lower section of the river, but found it to still be too dirty to be very productive. After donating a bit of gas money to the big oil companies we made our way farther up stream to a few cooperative fish. All three were ultimately succesfull, with the fish taking in no particular order, Egg sucking leaches, Steelhead Candy in Chartrusse & Orange and Saddleback Hex’s. The fishing continues to improve and with the clarity only getting better and the water levels dropping to a more reasonable level, the next week or two should be fantastic on the Mightly Mo.
