Wow, winter has arrived! Cold clear water are the conditions of the day. Water temps are now in the upper thirties and the fish are quickly seeking their winter lies. Fished the “mid-section” today with nothing but wet lines to show. Not very often that I leave you a report of a “skunk” but what can I say…it happens. It would seem that the afternoon “union meeting” at the launch, the section we were in was pretty void of action today-new plans for tomorrow.
Please keep in mind with the cold temps to PLEASE pull your boats slowly from the river to keep the ice to a minimum on the launches.
