Dark, dreary, and rainy, three key elements to make a great day of fall steelhead fishing. While these conditions certainly don’t rate high on the list with the Chamber of Commerce, steelhead certainly love to exploit them! Joining me for his first opportunity to swing flies for steelhead was Marc Montepetit. Some of you will recognize Marc as or conservation director from West Michigan’s Shrems Trout Unlimited. While this was Marcs first time swinging flies, I can assure you it wont be his last. Pictured is Marc with a couple from today.
