After a couple days of “Treestand” time I was back on the river yesterday with the Logan’s from Cinci. This was a first time trip for the husband and wife duo. I told them as we were going down the river in the early morning light- we needed to capitalize on the morning darkness to ensure success. Both Jenny and Josh took this to heart and landed some beautiful fish. By 10:30 am the action had all but diminished to a few maybe’s. Small pale egg patterns with a bit of “Mykiss Mousse” sealed the deal. Pictured is Jenny with a beautiful brown and Josh with his first steelhead.

Get prepared for a harsh dose of reality in the weather department-forecasters are predicting the first snow flakes of the season this week along with wind and rain! Dress warm!

Tight lines,

Steve
