Waters less traveled and the swung fly

Swinging flies continues to reward both the single-handers and Spey fishermen alike. Finding player fish seems to be a daily challenge as the cooler brigade continues to plunk out the easy fish. Working waters of the “less traveled” variety seems to be the key to success. Leeches are bring most of the pulls, however sculpin have saved the day in recent trips. Water temps are falling and things are definitely starting to change, both where the fish are comfortable and the color of flash required to entice the chrome.
