Jon, Rob, and Todd of Action Fab joined me today for a banner day of steelhead fishing. Banner may be down playing our successes, but I will leave it as is. It sure is strange, the day-to-day differences on the river. Yesterday as you may have read was tough, every cast needed to be perfect. Today, while perfect drifts were necessary, the steelhead just jumped all over the flies; every run we fished but one–produced at least one steelhead. So as not too dwell on the strange behaviors, we will just deal and be glad we have scored everyday. Not only were the steelhead happy, we also scored on two very nice lake run browns.
